Ms. Rivas possesses over thirteen years experience as a certified clinical social worker that is bicultural and bilingual. She worked with diverse populations such as LGBTQ+, individuals with substance addiction issues, victims of sexual abuse and sexual violence in intimate relationships etc. Since 2019, Mrs. Rivas is serving Erie's patients. The clinic now offers telehealth health services. Ms. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with prenatal and postpartum mothers, offers trauma-informed therapy to adult patients and has a specialization in the use of trauma-informed treatments. She can provide Group and Individual Therapy, Medication-Assisted Treatment, Referral to Specialty Care, as well as a Women's Support group. Amanda is a volunteer for Best Friends Animal Society to aid homeless animals to find a home. Best Friends' motto, "Save Them All", is a cause she strongly believes in. Amanda hopes for Los Angeles to become a no-kill city. Amanda always strives to maximize the value of every day and she is always pushing herself to accomplish her objectives.
